Applied study of detecting the hand drawn figure area with optical fibre system

A kind of CCD detection system was introduced which can record the border locus of hand-drawn figure and fix figure area encircled by the locus, by holding optical fibre pen to draw along the border of figure which has a low contrast, using CCD as sensor to record the drawn locus in time, by compiling due computer program of calculating area of locus in the meantime of drawing. In the whole process of detection, it was the characteristics of high efficiency and automation, the position precision of optical fibre pen amounts to 10μm. The system was put into detecting speed melted of ice layer on windowpane of car. It shows a practical meaning.
