摘要
Skin parts have a range of characteristics, such as multi-varieties, small demands in each, complex shapes and tight forming tolerance. Given such characteristics, this paper explored the key technology of skin stretch forming over reconfigurable tooling. Based on the redevelopment of CATIA, the generation system of die surface for skin stretch forming over Reconfigurable Tooling was developed. The transformation of skin part models was made possible in the reconfigurable tooling coordinate. The system is also capable of the examination of pins adjusting values and 3D virtual die movement. The system is reliable and valid by test and can generate the accurate skin surface in demand. It functions as a technical support for the research of skin stretch forming process over reconfigurable tooling.
