摘要

An electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) sensor with rotational electrodes is simulated for image reconstruction. The imitation results are compared with a previous ECT sensor without rotational electrodes. Some representative gas-solid two-phase flow patterns are simulated when using the two different sensor structures. It is shown that the sensor with rotational electrodes is able to produce improved images. In addition, ECT system is applied to on-line measurement of spatial distributions of solids in fluidized beds. The influence of fluidized air velocity upon gas/solid distribution in fluidized bed is compared and analyzed. The prospects for using ECT system for real time measurement and control of fluidized bed are promising.
