Application of digital art device in design: Design of visual device for droplet suspension based on Arduino

摘要

The universal application of digital technology has broken the design mode of traditional art device and played a pioneering role in the design and innovation of art device. This paper describes the application of digital technology in case of art device design, and explores the application method of digital technology in art device design. The water droplet suspension visual device is a device that forms a visual effect of water droplet suspension by controlling the consistency between vibration frequency of the water flow and the flashing frequency of the lights. In this paper, an art device was designed by Arduino Uno. In the experiment, water was sucked up from the cup by a pump and discharged again. The water was drawn from the water cup by the water pump and then flowed out. The sine wave signal generated by APP on the mobile phone was amplified by power amplifier, and the water flow was vibrated through loudspeaker. Digital clock and temperature display functions have also been added to increase the utility of the device. The device produced different visual effects through the combination of vibrating water flow and stroboscopic light. When the vibration frequency of the water flow was consistent with the flashing frequency of the light, the visual effect of visible water droplets standing still in the air will be formed.
