摘要
Flexural joint is the weakest component of Dynamically Tuned Gyroscopes (DTG). Vibration and impact acting on the joint may break it when transporting. Research on its anti-impact capability can help to make plan for transporting the DTG. In order to know how intense impact the flexural joint can endure, firstly, a dispersed dynamic model of the DTG is established and the response under specifically impact load is calculated by direct integral method. Secondly, Relationship between stress and deformation of flexural structure is calculated by finite element method. Finally, a damage accumulating method is used to estimate its fatigue life. Results indicate that this type of DTG can endure an impact acceleration up to 150 g-180 g.
