abstract = "This paper presents an outdoor antenna measurement system based on a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The hardware structure of the system and a data sampling method for the antenna radiation pattern are proposed. The path loss, pointing and polarization errors caused by position errors and attitude of UAV are calibrated through feedback loop. Through the outdoor experiment of measuring the radiation pattern of the S-band standard gain horn antenna at 3.7GHz, it is verified that the repeatability of the system is better than 0.28 dB (root mean square, RMS). This antenna measurement system could be used for over the air (OTA) radio frequency (RF) performance measurement in base station and radar.",
