abstract = "Power transformer is a key equipment in the modern power system. With a view to eliminate the weakness and defects that exists in condition assessment for a power transformer, such as difficulty in tackling uncertain information, this paper proposes an integrated decision-making method for condition assessment of a power transformer using fuzzy set theory, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and evidence combination based on the distance of evidence. The integrated decision-making model relies on three factors: DGA data, oil testing data, and electrical testing data. The weights of characteristic quantity are obtained under the AHP method. In addition, the assessment results can be generated by the evidence combination based on the distance of evidence, which can avoid the error result facing conflict evidences. The case study shows that the integrated decision-making method is a reliable and effective tool to evaluate the condition of a power transformer.",
