摘要
Efficient noninvasive long-term cell tracing is of great importance for monitoring biological processes. It helps us study pathological pathways, understand disease mechanisms, evaluate therapeutic effects, and design new therapeutic strategies. The newly emerged fluorescent materials, AIEgen-based nanoparticles (NPs), usually have with high brightness, excellent photostability, and low cytotoxicity, showing superior potential in long-term cell tracing. In this chapter, we introduce the recent advances in the development of AIEgen-based NPs and their applications in long-term cell tracing.
