摘要
In allusion to the phenomenon that silicone rubber aging problem will appear in the storage period while the logarithm linear Arrhenius model is only applicable to the condition where temperature changes in a small range, this paper develops a method for step-down-stress accelerated aging test of silicone rubber employing the segmented nonlinear Arrhenius model. Regarding the compression set of silicone rubber as the evaluation index for storage life, this paper establishes a mathematical model for failure data equivalent conversion. An evaluation of silicone rubber storage life is undertaken by combining the segmented nonlinear Arrhenius model, maximum likelihood function and evaluation index. This paper gives an example of silicone rubber, in which the results based on the segmented nonlinear Arrhenius model, the logarithm linear Arrhenius model and outfield are evaluated and compared. The result based on the segmented nonlinear Arrhenius model is almost coincident with the field storage lifetime.
