N2 - A planar Q-band substrate integrated dual-slot antenna is proposed in this paper, aiming at the upcoming 5th generation wireless communications. The proposed antenna has two parallel 45°-inclined slots on the broad wall of the SIW with a modified shorted termination to achieve wideband and an improved gain performance. The operating principle has been discussed, and a circularly polarized antenna is designed based on the proposed dual-slot antenna.
