N2 - To guarantee the long-time stability and accuracy of simulations of multiconductor transmission lines (MTLs), a provably stable summation-by-parts simultaneous approximation term (SBP-SAT) finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is proposed. In the proposed method, SBP operators were introduced to model MTL equations and simultaneous approximation terms (SATs) were used to enforce the impedance on the boundary weakly. Its long-time stability can be theoretically given. Several numerical results validate its accuracy and stability.
