abstract = "This paper presents a pilot-aided bit synchronization method for the THz communication system. By inserting a low-power mono pilot into the data signal in frequency domain, making the bit offset of the data signal equal to the frequency offset of the pilot. So we can easily extract the bit offset through processing the pilot, where FFT operation is employed. Theoretical analyses and simulations show that this method greatly reduces the amount of computations by 6 orders of magnitude, saves the hardware resources, simplifies hardware implementation, ensures a sufficiently large bit offset estimation range, and almost not changes the bit error rate performance.",
