A novel uncertain rule presentation method based on dual factors

We proposed a novel rule presentation method for uncertain diagnosis rules based on the notions of case and effect relationship, sufficiency, necessity which were contained in rules and uncertainty issues related to diagnosis rules. The relevant issues were also presented and discussed, which included rule presentation form, uncertainty degree calculation method, rule uncertainty factors acquisition method, etc.. In contrast with other existing significant methods, the rule presentation method mentioned can deal with diagnosis rules which comprise complicated relationships between conditions in diagnosis rule, and factors related to diagnosis rules uncertainty can be figured out based on the conditions involved in concerned rules. In expert systems application development, the rule presentation method was applied, which reveals that the method proposed is effective and feasible.
