摘要

A new method for healing corrosion defects was proposed based on the microarc thermal effect, which is enhanced at local geometric defects according to the local additional potential model (LAPM). Finite element analysis (FEA), corrosion tests and surface characterization were used to simulate the principles and evaluate the healing efficiency. The results showed under the microarc effect, the local additional current can be used to detect and heal corrosion defects. This method has an effective healing ability for the initial corrosion defects, and the healed microstructure was composed of recrystallized grains. After being healed, corrosion performance varies slightly.
