abstract = "The safety of the aircraft landing is one of the important factors limiting the combat capability of an aircraft carrier. It is difficult for the carrier-based aircraft to land because of random movements of aircraft carriers in the ocean. In this paper, a method to predict the position of aircraft carrier based on ship motion model is studied. The simulation shows that, except for the extreme special cases, the theil inequality coefficient (TIC) of the predicted data and the reference data can be less than 0.3 which means forecasts are acceptable. This method is simple in calculation, quick in response, and does not rely on a large amount of historical data and complex preparatory work. The approach has advantages in the context of dramatic environmental changes and the carrier landing of small unmanned aircraft.",
