abstract = "In this paper, a decoupling method that utilizes capacitive loads and an impedance transformer is proposed to suppress common mode (CM) current and hence reduce mutual coupling of collinear dipole antennas. In order to verify this method, two identical dipole antennas placed in a close proximity are analyzed and measured, and mutual coupling between them is reduced by 6-10 dB in a wide frequency range. In addition, distorted radiation patterns are also solved owing to the reduced coupling levels. This new method is suitable for the case where the space between collinear dipole antennas is very limited.",
