A credible Cluster-head election algorithm based on fuzzy logic in wireless sensor networks

摘要

Cluster formation and Cluster-head (CH) election are important issues in designing reliable and scalable distributed wireless sensor networks. Most existence CH election algorithms which did not take into account the trust management led to insecurity network environment. In order to deal with this problem, a credible cluster-head election algorithm based on fuzzy logic (CCEF) was present. The proposed algorithm adopted three fuzzy variables composed of trust value, centrality and the density of nodes to compute node superiority. Then the nodes with the max superiority were to be elected as the CHs. To prove the efficiency of CCEF, we simulated and compared it with LEACH using Matlab. Our simulation results show that CCEF can effectively prevent malicious nodes becoming CHs. In addition, CCEF performs well due to consider reasonable distribution and energy saving.
