摘要

Communication networks play a crucial role in practical scenarios, while commonly deployed in challenging environments in which network nodes are vulnerable to potential damage. The destruction or failure of communication nodes will result in the network being divided into separate partitions, leading to a detrimental impact on the network performance and task reliability. Reestablishing connectivity to tolerate node failures is a crucial aspect of communication network topology control. In this study, we present the movement-based connectivity restoration problems (MCRPs) and formulate it as a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model using an enhanced network flow model and a Euclidean distance linearization approach. Experiments on 20 datasets were conducted to validate the proposed MILP model, and the computational results unequivocally affirm its applicability.
