abstract = "Two-dimensional simulations are performed to investigate the interaction between buzz-saw noise and curved walls. Non-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations are solved by high order computational aeroacoustic schemes. For simplification, artificial quasi-N-wave pairs are introduced as the buzz-saw noise source. Results show that the numerical methods used in this study is able to capture the behavior of N-waves interacting with significantly curved walls. Due to the nonlinear properties, interaction and radiation behaviours of N-waves is found to be closely related to the amplitude. Apart from meanflow effect, N-wave propagation patterns along curved wall can be explained as a tug-of-war between the intrinsic diffraction and nonlinearity.",
