摘要
As an evolutional concept of variable cycle engine, the adaptive cycle engine drives more components with novel technical characteristics to realize the "widely variable cycle characteristic" design purpose. It can fit the wider flight velocity and height range to deal with the more demanding future aircraft performance requirements. But these characteristics lead to further complexity of control schedules in different working conditions. To simplify the adaptive cycle engine control schedule design, we constructed the performance model, and analyzed the performance difference at various operating modes in typical flight mission profile. This study can divide the adaptive cycle engine control schedule large-scale optimization problems into the operating modes selection and variable geometry schedule optimization.
