摘要

The prefabricated parts of concrete composite slabs with rabbets (CC-R slab) are designed without the extended reinforcement bars. They are interconnected without gaps, and rely on the reinforcement bars in the rabbets and the cast-in-place concrete to transfer the forces between slabs. This form of detailing has effectively solved the problems of conflictions between the extended reinforcement bars of different prefabricated structures. An experimental study on the mechanical behavior of CC-R slab was conducted in this paper, and a total of three test specimens were designed to investigate the failure mode, load-deflection pattern, strength, stiffness and deformation capacity of CC-R slab. Under serviceability limit state, the CC-R slab has similar stiffness, yielding strength and load-deflection pattern compared with the traditional concrete composite slab without connections (CC slab), and in ultimate limit state, the ultimate strength and deformation capacity of CC-R slab are reduced due to the separation of the interface, but they could still comply with the design requirement. Besides, implementing the anchoring measures of the reinforcement bars in the rabbets could effectively increase the ultimate strength of CC-R slab. The methods for calculating the bending strength and stiffness were developed, and a case study of the application of the CC-R slab on a real structure was conducted. The design results indicate that the CC-R slab could not only satisfy the requiremens of mechanical performance, but also effectively improve the assembling speed, reduce the in-situ workloads and work force, shorten the construction duration and lessen the building cost of the prefabricated structure.
