摘要

Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) is an active risk assessment technology, which is mainly used to sort failure modes according to their risk levels and implement follow-up actions to eliminate or mitigate their consequences. To overcome the defects caused by the traditional FMEA technology, the risk priority number (RPN) is used to determine the critical failure mode. In this paper, a new integrated multi criteria decision making (MCDM) method is proposed, which combines intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (IFAHP) with improved fuzzy multi-attribute ideal reality comparative analysis (FMAIRCA). Firstly, this paper calculates the weight of risk factors through IFAHP method, and then deduces the order of failure modes using the improved FMAIRCA model proposed in this paper. In addition, the objective weight of experts is also considered in the whole process. Finally, a case in the FMEA field is considered to verify the proposed method, the results show that the proposed method provides a practical and effective method for the FMEA risk assessment.
