中频下正弦曲面触头真空电弧特性研究

摘要

With the development of more/all-electric aircraft technologies, AC medium frequency (360~800Hz) power supply system has become a major development direction of avionics system, and the demand for a new type of small-volume, light-weight, large-capacity switch becomes increasingly urgent. Vacuum switches hold strong advantages in aviation fields due to its breaking mechanism and other unique characteristics. In this paper, a new type of contact structures, the sinusoidal surface contact vacuum interrupter, was proposed, and its vacuum arc characteristics at intermediate frequency were studied. Then the arc mode evolution, arc voltage characteristics, arc energy, the breaking performance, the ablation of the anode contact and the arc product condensation ability between the sinusoidal curved contact and the plate contact with the same contact diameter (41mm) and the same material under a short open distance were compared and analyzed. The correlations of the arc energy with the amplitude and the frequency of the current, and the influences of the arc energy on the breaking capacity were achieved. The results show that the sinusoidal curved contact has strong application potential, because of its low arc energy, low arc voltage noise and arc voltage peak, light ablation on the surface of the anode contact, strong breaking capacity and condensation ability of arc products.
