摘要
Direct-contact condensation in two-phase jet plays an important role in both natural and engineering sciences. Accurate prediction of the mass transfer phenomena near the liquid–vapor interface has been the focus and difficulty of the research. Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations were conducted to construct a nonequilibrium liquid–vapor surface with a sudden temperature and pressure drop and then the mass transfer during transient direct-contact condensation were studied to verify the Schrage relation. The MD results indicate that the temperature anisotropy near the interface has no obvious effect on condensation rate. The Schrage relation modified by the evaporation coefficient shows better consistency with the MD results.
