Abstract

A novel robotic system for public safety application is introduced. Except double locomotion, legs and wheels, the system of novel robot for safety protection identification & detection (NOROSPID) also has two arms which can be used as legs to cooperate in succoring. Metamorphic structure is proposed to adapt complex environment easily. Multi-hop ad-hoc communication technology is also used in NOROSPID.
