Wake-boundary layer interaction on low pressure turbine cascade blades

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The wake-boundary layer interaction had been investigated numerically and experimentally, and a periodicity moving bar wake had been used to imitate the upstream wake. The study shows that the wake has a significant influence on the boundary layer of cascade: The transition on suction surface has taken place in advance; the separation has been remarkably suppressed; the load of low-pressure turbine cascade has been increased obviously.
