Abstract
Aiming at the problems existed in the traditional eccentric cam mould vibrator driven by electric motor, the mould vibrator operated by electrohydraulic servo systems and its computer control systems are developed. In order to meet the requirement of continuous casting process for tracking non-sinusoid reference vibration wave, based on the principal thoughts of the intelligence control, some control methods are organically combined, so the steady error caused by asymmetrical load is effectively restrained and the phase frequency band width of systems is increased. Experiment shows, the mould vibrator driven by electrohydraulic servo systems and its computer control systems developed here can conveniently change vibration wave-form in accordance with continuous casting process, so the automation level of continuous casting process is improved.
