Abstract

A measurement system on how to obtain the dynamic properties of rotor under the rotary condition using the laser untouched method was presented in this paper. This system mainly consists of three parts: laser vibrometer used to acquire and process signal from the rotor, gearing used to drive the rotor to simulate its real movement condition, and the rotor representing the measured object. In order to evaluate this system, the rotor was investigated under three states: hit by hammer, turned by hand, and turned by gearing in low speed. Showing from the measurement result, the measurement results of dynamic properties of the rotor under these three states were consistent. Consequently, the measurement system we designed is reliable.
