Abstract

A FPGA-based center-controller for networked controlling and manipulating system of construction machinery was designed owing to its features of totally custom hardware and the principle of parallel processing as well as IP-cores duplicating technology. The proposed design implementation methods for hardware and software of signal acquisition and output module, communication module, information exchanging and management module were described in detail. The controller meets the needs of flexible configuration and real-time controlling with multi-task. The design improves control performances of construction machinery and shortens the development cycle of control system.
