Abstract
Based on multi-IMU data fusion, a method of deformation measurement was proposed to compensate the local attitude error resulting from deck deformation. A model of multi-IMU layout optimization was presented. The uniform attitude reference measurement system of whole ship was developed and the IMU layout optimization was solved using genetic algorithm. Simulation results show that by processing the output signals of the IMU used in the uniform attitude reference measurement system, it is feasible to realize real-time estimation of deck deformation. The prediction error is less than 2.3 arcmin through IMU layout optimization, and the number of IMU for shipborne weapon systems decreases.
