Abstract
An algorithm of two-dimensional near-field microwave imaging is presented on the basis of the weak scattering approximation model. The point spread function of imaging system is constructed with the echo scattered by the perfect metallic sphere, then it is employed to eliminate the effect of measurement system in spectrum domain. By the stolt-interpolation, the correction of wavefront is carried out and the reconstruct of target is implemented via FFT. The results of some computer simulations and experiments are provided to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm, and the two-dimensional near-field microwave images at Ku-band are obtained for a metallic circular cylinder and a missile model.
