Abstract
A method of correcting distortion in the measured unsteady pressures using a tubing system and off-board pressure transducers is described. This technique involves the using of the frequency domain correction with a known Tubing-Transfer-Function (TTF). The advantage of this method not only corrects the amplitude distortion but also eliminates the phase shift. The technique is verified in an unsteady surface pressure measurement of a turbomachinery blade flutter test and for wake measurements of a vortex shedding case.
