Abstract
For the bandwidth allocation of time-sensitive traffic in time-sensitive networking (TSN), it is important to provide specific optimization strategies and bandwidth allocation results based on the real-time requirements of traffic delivery with the consideration of the share of different types of traffic Based on this, a specific optimization strategy can be provided for bandwidth assignments according to the real-time requirements of traffic transmission. In this paper, we first establish a bandwidth allocation evaluation model based on network calculus. Then, a heuristic algorithm is used to optimize the bandwidth allocation when the constraints are constructed based on real-time requirements. Finally, cases are used to study the changing trend of optimized results under various influences, including the traffic loads and proportion of different traffic classes. The evaluation results show that based on the credit-based shaping (CBS) mechanism for traffic, the lowest overall end-to-end delay for traffic transmission can be obtained when the proportion of class A traffic is 70% in the example network, thereby realize the best matching ratio.
