Abstract

Based on the theory from V.A. Syrovoy on describing electron beam according to differential geometry theory, this paper investigates a theoretical description of circular electron beam. According to the physical parameters such as input voltage and current, cathode shape and size, electron beam channel size and distance between cathode and anode, the three-dimensional spatial potential of electron beam can be calculated. The possibility to get the electron beam motion trajectories is shown by comparing the theory function potential and the beam cross sections.
