The two-stage cloud platform scheduling strategy of Stress simulation analysis of electronic devices

Abstract

The existing reliability prediction method based on the physics of failure (PoF) models calculates the time to failure of electronic devices responding to multiple mission profiles. It is necessary to calculate multiple simulation test samples, use the simulation software to do multistress simulations, and calculate the single point of failure and device reliability prediction according to the physical model. Because this method needs many simulation test samples and takes long simulation time, it is necessary to study how to schedule the multi-stress simulation test samples to achieve the shortest overall execution time. Therefore, this paper introduced the two-stage cloud platform scheduling strategy. In the job sorting stage, the maximum weight priority strategy is applied; in the job allocation stage, the performance-first scheduling strategy based on a genetic algorithm is applied. Finally, cloud platform scheduling test cases are used as examples to verify the feasibility of the two-phase cloud platform scheduling strategy, solving the shortest expected completion time of the overall job set.
