Abstract
In order to assess the performance pattern of the environmentally sensitive micro-strip antenna array within multi-field such as complex temperature and stress field, based on the multi-field coupling mechanism, this paper analyzes the multi-field effects on the micro-strip antenna array under the circumstances of the airborne antenna application within complicated physical environment. By combining multilevel fast multi-pole method, which has the advantage of calculating electrically large size antenna, and finite element method, which is a classic method for calculating temperature field and structure field, this paper is able to achieve a breakthrough in terms of some of the key techniques such as the parallel modeling technique, the grid sharing technique, as well as the multi-field collaborating simulation technique, and to establish a mature simulation process in terms of solving the electric-thermal coupling problems during the antenna multi-physic field simulation.
