Abstract

There are extensive studies had been carried out for the correction of C arm X-ray image distortion over the world. The global method specializes in analysing the establishment of ideal points during the process of image correction, and this method was adopted to be used in the study of this article. Compare with the traditional method of establishing ideal points, Global Method suggests creating the ideal points by using the pin-hole model, which could improve the precision of image correction. Meanwhile, it analyses the effects on image correction caused by deviations of calibration phantoms installation. It could be an important foundation for further improvement on surgical navigation.
