Abstract

Cold standby system is a typical system in reliability engineering which reflects the reliability logic in a wide range of engineering structures. For practical engineering multi-unit standby system with unreliable switch, logic simulation is established and generic simulation process is proposed by analyzing structure model, switch failure model and control mode model of different people. Finally, a simulation example is shown, analyzing the impact of switch life, unit number and human control on the reliability index, providing the basis for the design of such systems.
