Abstract
The interrelations of non-probabilistic reliability measures based on ellipsoidal convex model and interval model safety factors based on interval model are investigated. According to the definition of non-probabilistic reliability and its index based on ellipsoidal convex model, the functional relationship between them are established. Three kinds of safety factors in interval model are calculated by the parameters of ellipsoid in the light of their definitions, and their connotation are analyzed. The interrelations of non-probabilistic reliability index and interval model safety factors are established finally, and their meaning on the evaluation of reliability or safety of structure are studied. The conclusion of the study are verified by numerical examples.
