N2 - Failure is a kind of important resource. Establishing the failure knowledge database, carrying out failure experience and knowledge management are important contents of failure science research. Project failure is a common failure. At present, there are also some researches about project failure knowledge management, but project failure knowledge expression problem has not been well solved. This paper designs failure cause tree (FCT) to display the process of project failure events. And on this basis, it is proposed that using object-oriented technology to express project failure knowledge. Finally, a case illustrates the application of proposed knowledge representation method.
