Abstract

A detail design scheme was proposed for Star Tracker simulator in this paper. It can be a substitute for a real star tracker to provide measured data for integrated navigation system. The simulator sets up star vector model by simulate the imaging principle of CCD, adding the measured error model, and exporting error angle data by the Least Squared Criterion. The result of star tracker that "input star light output error" can be achieved. The algorithm of each module has been discussed in detail in this paper. The main aim of this emulator is to provide the data source for testing algorithms of composed navigation system, especially the when star tracker is unavailable.
