Abstract

In this paper, an improved laminating varactor-loaded tunable notch filter (TNF) was proposed, which adopted only one Split Ring Resonator (SRR) as the resonance unit. This filter operates at S band and can be tuned by the control voltage on the varactor. Comparing to the former reported coplanar SRR TNF [1], the laminating structure is more compact and its stopband bandwidth is much narrower.
