Abstract

This paper focused on the effect of machining path on machining deformation of thin-walled parts. Different machining processes for frame parts were simulated with FE software and the simulation conclusions have been verified by experiments. The results were presented as follows: machining path just influences the part's machining deformation process rather than its final deformation when only the initial residual stress is taken into consideration.
