Abstract

This paper introduces a horn antenna used in tunnel for satellite broadcasting. With the increase of underground tunnels, the safety of closed space has become the focus of attention. In the rapid development of information network today, if there is no cell phone signal, people will have no sense of security. Therefore, in some emergency situations, the guarantee of broadcast signal quality is very important. Based on the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technique, a horn antenna with high gain, low cost and simple structure is designed. The method of distributing the antenna in the tunnel ensures the complete coverage of the signal in the tunnel.
