Abstract

Microstrip filters are widely used in millimeter wave (MMW) circuit. This paper briefly describes the design procedure of micro strip band stop filter. A compact band stop is presented with all equal widths open stubs. From 1.75 to 2.6 GHz, the proposed micro strip band stop filter has a rejection of better than 20 dB and the maximum rejection level of 77 dB. Its size reduction is more one half of the conventional filter, and it performs as expected and the results are in good agreement with the simulated.
