Abstract

Based on the fact that the geomagnetic micro pulsation signal behave as a non-Gaussian random process in most cases, a signal processing method using higher order statistics is proposed to analyze the geomagnetic micro pulsation signal. Deriving the bispectrum estimated via indirect method, then reconstructing the power spectrum and the signal itself based on it. Results by using an example show that comparing with the other traditional analytical ways, the bispectral analysis method is superior.
