Abstract

The segmentation method integrated with texture information was proposed, which effectively uses the grey and texture information in segmented regions. The subregion-based region growing algorithm was designed and applied to medical image segmentation. The experimental results have shown that the method can produce good segmentation results to some kinds of image.
