Abstract

Partial Changchun main road was taken as the experimental study road section; an onboard emission measure device was employed to do emission experiment of single vehicle in actual road. Polynomial regression method was used to integrate vehicle operation condition and microscopic emission model of actual road of single vehicle was established. By combining path-based microscopic traffic simulation system and microscopic emission models of single vehicle, authors developed an effective system to estimate emissions from traffic corridors or street segments under different traffic conditions. The result shows that the system can confirm the effect of vehicle emission on air pollution composition and evaluate the effect of traffic management and control strategies on vehicle emission.
