Abstract
To deal with the increasing output of thick oil in China and the decreasing effect of electrical desalting process equipment, a series of test research on high-frequency electrical desalting process were conducted for several typical crude oils with middle or high viscosity, process parameters were evaluated, and the comprehensive desalting effect of high-frequency electrical desalting method and existing method were compared. Salt mass concentration in desalted oil was < 3 mg/L, and the relative standards for China's petrochemical industry are met.
