Abstract

To evaluate the transmission and reflection performances of low-reflection materials at terahertz frequencies, a simple method is employed. The test bench was constructed at G-band (170-220 GHz), which utilized harmonic multiplier and harmonic mixer. Available materials including commercial absorbing materials and common foam were tested and compared. Results indicate that these materials have practical value in terahertz experiments. At last, a quasi-optical experiment was accomplished with the low-reflection materials.
